Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole has said former President Olusegun Obasanjo could be in jail after prosecution should Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari decides to probe the power sector. Obasanjo, who was Nigeria president from 1999 till 2007, met country’s electricity generation capacity in 1500 megawatts and left it at 3000 megawatts of electricity after spending $16 million on power projects. Nigeria’s power, works and housing minister Babatunde Fashola in August 2018, said Buhari government had improved the power generation capacity to 7000 megawatts.
