Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), on Sunday, appealed to politicians to desist from politics of bloodshed to enhance growth and inclusiveness of the democratic process. U.S, Europe May Stop Giving Visa To Nigerian Elite, Politicians

The United States of America and European countries may with effect from tomorrow, stop issuance of visas to prominent Nigerian elite and politicians. Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Mike Igini, who disclosed this yesterday, said the ban would remain in place until after the elections. In an exclusive interview with The Guardian in Uyo, Igini said: “I have been calling on various countries.
