Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set Monday February the 11th as deadline for all political parties who failed to submit the passport photographs of their agents to do so or forfeit proper representation during the polls. The commission said in a statement that many of the political parties have failed to submit the photographs of their agents in line with the extant provisions of the law. Inec had fixed February the 1st as the last date for the submission of the names, two passport photographs or each polling centre agents and their sample signatures. The electoral umpire said it is concerned that a week after the deadline for the submission of the list of poll agents for Presidential and National Assembly elections and less than three weeks to the deadline for the submission of the list of candidates for the Governorship and State Assembly elections, only few political parties have complied with the extant provisions of the law.
