Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. The Chairman of Atiku/Obi Campaign Council in Anambra State, Oseloka H. Obaze, says he is doubtful of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s ability to remain a neutral umpire. Obaze questioned the ability of INEC to conduct free, fair and credible elections. Speaking at Onitsha on Saturday, during an interactive radio program on Sapientia 95.3FM, Obaze said recent events have put a serious credibility deficit on INEC. He said the controversies surrounding by-elections and state elections of the last couple of years, especially that of Ekiti and Osun states have placed serious credibility deficits on INEC.
