Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Presidency gives assurance on NOSDRA Amendment Bill assent

The Presidency has assured Nigerians, especially the people of the Niger Delta region that President Muhammadu Buhari would soon sign the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) Amendment bill passed by the National Assembly. President Buhari Mr Edebor Iyamu, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Vice President on Niger Delta, gave the assurance at a one day workshop to highlight the socio-environmental benefits of the bill when signed into law. Sonny Odogwu, business mogul, dies at 87 Edebor noted that the Buhari-led administration was committed to a cleaner environment going by the theme of the workshop which is “Reducing Environmental Degradation in the Niger Delta through Improved Oil Spill Response”.
