Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

According to a report by Vanguard, the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram, has bombed a Mosque in Maiduguri, killing eleven persons.  The commissioner of police in the state, Damian Chukwu, who confirmed the incident, said it happened around 5:40am.  He said two suicide bombers, accompanied by a gunman, infiltrated the mosque located at Kushari village behind old CBN quarters in the ancient city.  His words:  “On-the-spot assessment at the scene revealed that at about 0540hrs gunmen suspected to be BH terrorists & suicide bombers infiltrated Gwozari/Kushari in Polo general area, Maiduguri shooting sporadically & detonated IEDs strapped to their bodies. “Eleven people including three bombers died while fifteen others sustained injuries and are currently hospitalized at the State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri.”

Army Kills Two Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno

The Nigerian Army has killed two Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Deputy Director, Public Relations, 7 Division Nigerian Army/Sector 1, Operation Lafiya Dole, Colonel Ado Isa on Sunday. According to Isa, the terrorists were killed during an operation along the Jebbra – Firgi Banki axis of the state around 7:21 pm on Saturday. “The terrorists in a crafty move bypassed own troops through another route but were however noticed by the ever vigilant and dogged troops who followed in a hot pursuit with firepower on target thereby inflicting heavy casualties on the runaway terrorists, scampered for their lives in disarray. “During the operation, troops neutralised 2 BHTs and an unconfirmed number of terrorists fled with gunshot wounds,” the statement read in part. Nigerian Army blows hot over Boko Haram, IS alliance

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai has vowed that the military will break the unholy alliance between the Boko Haram terrorists and Islamic State West Africa or ISWA. Displaced residents of Baga, a border community in Borno State recently taken over by the Boko Haram insurgents, said the Nigerian government is lying in the claims that the town has been reclaimed by government troops. According to multiple civilian sources, all IDPs from Baga, the insurgent are not only flying their flags in the commercial border town but are also controlling the movement of civilians in an out of the town. But the military has described the report as another propaganda of the Boko Haram. It insisted that its troops are currently in charge of Baga.
