Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Suspended CJN, Walter Onnoghen An insider has revealed to  DAILY POST  on the ground of anonymity what the National Judicial Council has planned to do to the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen following his supension by President Muhammadu Buhari. The NJC issued queries to Onnoghen and acting CJN, Tanko Mohammed yesterday. In the query, NJC gave both Onnoghen and the acting CJN seven days to respond to the petitions brought against them. The insider revealed that the query issued to both Onnoghen and Mohammed was aimed at removing them from office. Recall that Buhari had last week suspended Onnoghen and immediately appointed Tanko Mohammed as the acting CJN. Explaining his reason, the President said he suspended Onnoghen, following an order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, asking him to wield the big stick.
