Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Singer Rihanna sues father for using her brand’s name

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna is taking her own father, Ronald Fenty to court. The Barbados singer is said to be angry at the fact that her father is using her brand’s name, Fenty, to launch a business for himself. The name Fenty had already been trademarked by Rihanna for all her businesses, including her well-known beauty line. According to the statement released by TMZ: “Rihanna is going after her own father in court for using her Fenty brand and his relationship to her to launch a business for himself … according to new court docs.” In a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Rihanna claims her father, Ronald Fenty, recently started a talent development company in 2017 called Fenty Entertainment. But Rihanna has already trademarked “Fenty” to use in a number of biz ventures, including her well-known Fenty Beauty line. She claims he’s profiting off the reputation she’s created with Fenty.
