Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Reports reaching DAILY POST from Ogbomoso town in Oyo State has it that no fewer than fifty-five (55) female Muslim students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) International School Ogbomoso, have been barred from entering the school premises over the use of Hijab. A senior lecturer in the school who begged not to be named told DAILY POST that the 55 students were turned down by the institution’s authority for wearing Hijab on top of their uniforms Monday morning. He said, “Hijab Imbroglio: Welcome to LAUTECH Secondary School, Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
