The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has condemned  reaction of President Muhammadu  to the last minute postponement of the general elections. Imo Ugochinyere, CUPP spokesperson, in a statement Saturday afternoon, said the president’s statement showed he was scared of impending defeat. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, on Saturday rejected the sudden postponement of the February 16 polls by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), few hours before the commencement of the exercise. Kola Ologbondiyan, Director, Media and Publicity, in a statement said the development was a sign that President Muhammadu Buhari was not willing to accept defeat.
