Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Mr Jimi Agbaje, has decried the proposed Fourth Mainland Bridge as a ‘pipedream’ the All Progressives Congress (APC) will use to win votes during elections. He said transportation difficulties being experienced by residents in the state will end, assuring that his government would provide a succour if elected. Agbaje, in a statement by the media office of his campaign organisation on Sunday in Lagos, assured residents of access to modern mass transportation modes if elected in the March 2 election.
