Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. NDLEA raids hideouts of drug peddlers, arrests 64 suspects

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) (Photo by STEFAN HEUNIS / AFP) The Jigawa Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has embarked on constant raid of drug peddlers’ hideouts across the state. The NDLEA Commandant in the state, Josephine Obi, made this known in Dutse on Saturday. Obi said the raids were being carried out by men of the command at various places suspected to be hideouts of drug peddlers in all the 27 local government areas of the state.
