Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of a former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said youths of today are lazy and not ready to work. Speaking on a Lagos Television programme on this morning, Tinubu said her New Era Foundation Patience Home had concluded plans to empower youths in her senatorial district. She was quoted to have said most of the youths in Lagos would come to her husband’s house, claiming  “they want to enjoy Asiwaju’s money.” She, however, expressed displeasure that “most of these youths don’t want to work”, adding that  “the moment you give them work to do, they fall sick.” Remi Tinubu added that youths of nowadays are interested in making quick money,  “but they don’t want to work before making the money. Our youths are very rude because they want to be like all those people abroad.”

Nigerian actor and Model, Mofe Duncan has frowned on Jaruma‘s plan to give Tacha N50m. Jaruma took to  Instagram   state clearly that she just needed time to evaluate the situation (deleting Tacha’s photos after her disqualification) and that she still cares so much about Tacha. She further mentioned that she would give Tacha N50m as compensation for being disqualified from the house. Mofe Duncan however has frowned on the idea, insisting that N50m cannot buy good character because no matter what she (Tacha) eventually achieves with the money, she would still need character to maintain the wealth.

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries appears to have advised against taking a bullet for the person someone you love but when he responded to someone who responded to his statement, he makes it apparent he was being sarcastic. According to a tweet he shared, the clergyman says one should never take a bullet for a loved one because that is equivalent to stealing. “Someone asked, if one could take a bullet meant for someone he loves.. my reply is, taking what’s not yours is stealing,” Suleman wrote. Embattled publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has fulfilled his bail conditions and will soon be released from the custody of the Department of State Security, DSS. Sowore met his bail condition earlier today – it should be recalled that Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the release of Sowore after denying the application by the DSS to extend his stay in detention. The judge, as part of bail conditions, asked Sowore to drop his passport with the court within 48 hours. Sowore’s counsel, Femi Falana, who is currently at the DSS headquarters, confirmed that the bail condition has been fulfilled and Sowore will be released soon. “I am currently at their headquarters. Having complied with the condition given by the court, I am here for Sowore’s release,” Falana told Punch correspondent in a telephone interview.
