Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. MMM participant regrets putting money into scheme

AN MMM participant has vowed to visit a native doctor following the news of the freezing of account by the admin for a month.

The unnamed man who was riding in a car with his friends said he regretted putting his money in the scheme as he had a premonition not to so.

He claimed he had just pledged the sum of N100, 000 before the news of the alleged crash of MMM.

He said in pidgin English: “I don die oo. This money, my mind tell me say no play, no play. I no know why I no listen to my mind. Na last week I give them N100k”.
