Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. ''We'll shut down Nigeria if FG goes ahead to arraign Onnoghen'' - Militants warn

A coalition of Niger Delta militants have vowed to shut down the country if the Federal Government continues in its planned arraignment of the Chief of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onneghen. Recall that Jutice Onnoghen, an Indigine of Cross Rivers state, has been asked to vacate his seat over his refusal to declare all his assets and is scheduled for arraignment before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja tomorrow January 14th.  In a statement issued by General John Dukku of the Niger Delta Watchdogs and Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators today January 13th, the coalition of militants said President Buhari never wanted the appointment of Onnoghen as the CJN and are not surprised that efforts are being made to remove him from office.
