Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Quanjian have been said to be preparing a
stunning £80 million bid to lure Chelsea
and Spanish striker Diego Costa to China in
the January 2017 transfer window.
It was explained that the club in December
2016 had their initial £50 million bid rejected
by Chelsea, and they are now set to offer the
Blues another mouthwatering deal.

According to the report, the 28-year-old
forward would be set to earn a staggering
£480,000-a-week playing for Tianjin Quanjian
if the deal could be a success.
Tianjin Quanjian have just been promoted to
the Chinese top division, and have a multi-
billionaire owner Shu Yuhui who is ready to
pay the cash of any player.

Last season, the billionaire stated he wanted
to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi, but the
Spanish club turned down the offer.
Fabio Cannavaro who won the 2006 FIFA
World Cup with Italy is currently the handler
of the Chinese Super League club.
