Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. A 67-year-elderly person has been summoned before the Lagos State Magistrate Court at Igbosere, Lagos, for purportedly hacking into a First Bank Plc record and taking N16.2million. Photos: 9-year-old boy killed by stray bullet allegedly fired by trigger-happy vigilantes in Delta State

A 9-year-old boy was hit and killed by a stray bullet, allegedly fired by members of a vigilante group in Agbaro, Delta State on Friday, October 26.
According to Israel Joe, the vigilantes shot indiscriminately in the area and the bullet hit the young boy, who was sitting in his mother's shop. Another person was left injured. Read full report below: 
ON THE KILLING OF A NINE YEAR-OLD BOY BY TRIGGERED HAPPY VIGILANTES IN AGBARO ON FRIDAY 26TH OCTOBER
We express absolute displeasure on the unprofessional conducts of vigilantes in Agbaro Delta State which led to the death of a nine year old boy who was sitting in his mother's shop. According to eye witness, there was no uproar in the area neither was there robbery nor stealing. 
In announcing their presence was a sporadic gunshot that left the nine year old boy dead and another seriously injured. When I confronted CSP Nosa the DPO Agbaro Divisional police headquarters, he said they are on top the situation as the vigilantes are in his custody.
Paying a condolence visit to the family of the victim this morning left me some pains as the tragedy was too much for the mother to bear. We hereby urge the DPO in line with the decision of the victim's family to transfer the suspects to state CIID for prosecution to serve as deterrent to others who feel they can fire arms at will.
The position of the CDHR state chairman Comr. Prince Kehinde Taiga who mandated me, is justice for the victim and we hope it be carried out immediately.

Karthyayani Amma,  a 96-year-old woman set a record by scoring 98 marks out of 100 in the literacy exam in southern Indian state of Kerala. A video has emerged showing the moment the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, was humiliated by villagers at Usen in Ovia South West local government area, on Thursday 24th January 2018. UK disagrees with US decision to ban Huawei 5G Network

THE United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre, NCSC, has said Huawei’s network equipment are not a threat to its security. This is despite restrictions in the United States on Huawei’s 5G network equipment and allegations that Chinese manufacturers are spying on the West. The centre also added that any potential risk posed from using the company’s equipment can be easily mitigated. UK Financial Times reported the NCSC has ruled out a blanket ban, but hasn’t formally settled on what to do in response to the US’s persuasion to ban the use of Huawei equipment. Huawei’s founder, Ren Zhengfei, in an interview with the BBC, stated categorically that “the US cannot crush Huawei.” In a previous report by the Bloomberg, Ren had stated that despite the potential impact of the US plot on the business, he was confident Huawei’s revenue would grow to $125 billion in 2019 from more than $100 billion last year.
