OUTRAGEOUS, UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN MIRACULOUS HIKE IN SCHOOL FESS

Sincerely, as much as I like University of Ilorin, on numerous occasions they take the Students for GRANTED and instead of appreciating us, the management so much hype themselves like as if we students have no input in the academic stability and normalcy in the school along side every other achievements this school ever had.
Just one morning they woke up and felt the need to hike school fees, isn't it funny my people?
If the school continue to feel the need to take credit for teaching us, they should be reminded that we need to take credit for learning too because we are the one that loses a mark for a wrong answer not them.
How can a school take the feelings and opinions of the students for granted and just wake up on morning and miraculously increase the school fees without carrying Students Union and other associations on campus along, are they trying to say we deserve no explanation?
I usually think the Unilorin environment is technically designed for Students to become problem solvers and not Aluta Soldiers, but their actions and decisions are sometimes frustrating and make you feel like pulling the school gate down one morning, but because we won't pull it down, the University think they have conditioned us to living with cheating and injustice, whereas they are taking our tolerance and perseverance for granted.
If we are to be certified on the basis of being worthy in learning and character as students, the school should evaluate themselves on whether they are worthy in teaching, character and institutional qualities and not threaten our collective existence as people and members of the University community.
Even if the school feel the need to do so, the hike and discrepancy in the former and later is too much, moral justice should apply everywhere, if the school is to teach the difference between right and wrong, then they should know what is wrong and right themselves, they are producing people that are to become sane member of Nigerian society, so Sanity should be here in the University itself.
ISHOWO, Isiaq Oluwatosin.
