Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has reacted to the sacking of manager, Jose Mourinho, Mirror UK reports.
Mourinho was on Tuesday morning sacked by United following the club’s poor form of runs this season.
Reacting to Mourinho’s sacking, Pogba took to his Instagram page less than half an hour after Mourinho was sacked and posted a picture of himself smirking with his eyes darting to the side and then promptly deleted the post.
However, the message next to the picture read: “Caption this.”
Commenting on the post one United fan wrote: “Now that your (sic) happy… It’s time to make us fans happy again..”
Another added: “…When you heard that your annoying manager just got sacked.”
Meanwhile, Pogba on Monday left Old Trafford following United’s 3-1 defeat by Liverpool in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old, who did not feature against Jurgen Klopp’s men in Sunday’s encounter, will hope to play when United tackle Cardiff City this weekend.
