Modric reveals why Real Madrid aren’t doing well this season

-

Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has revealed why the Los Blancos are not faring well this season.
Real Madrid are currently 10 points behind La Liga league leaders, Barcelona on the table.
Modric said Santiago Solari’s side are not performing well this campaign because some Madrid players are not putting in their best for the club.
The Croatian captain stated this following his side’s 2-0 defeat by Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu in the La Liga encounter on Sunday.
According to Modric, Madrid’s problems this term are not normal, adding that the Champions League holders are missing lots of goals this season.
“Missing goals and no much unity on the field. At home, they’re scoring goals on us and we aren’t scoring many,” Modric was quoted by Goal as saying at post-match.
“We have to sit down, talk and to see what is our problem. It’s not normal, it’s not just one time, this has happened many times. You have to find solutions, lots of players are not performing at their best.
“I have to improve and assume more responsibility. It’s a difficult moment for the club but these things have to unite us more.”
Modric added: “The manager is doing a great job but he can’t score the goals or stop them at the beginning of the game. He has hope, but we are out there on the field and we have to do better to have more concentration.
“We can’t keep cocking up like this in every game. You have to avoid it in the future. We created but we lacked the goal and that’s our problem. Solari has our confidence and we won’t be looking for excuses with him or blame him.
“I think that we all have to be self-critical. “We have to speak clearly and say it how it is. We can’t say we did well and just didn’t have luck. The ball isn’t going in and we have to see why.
“There are reasons why we are bad and you have to see what they are. We all have to take more responsibility.”

A Court of Appeal sitting in Yola, Adamawa state has reversed the July 15th 2014 impeachment of Murtala Nyako as governor of Adamawa State. The former Governor who was accused of misappropriation of public funds while in office, was impeached after 17 of 25 members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly voted against him at the state house of Assembly. Delivering judgement in an appeal filed by Nyako today February 11th, the Court of Appeal ruled that the process leading to his impeachment contravened the provisions of the Law. The court in its ruling, ordered that all his entitlement before and after leaving office should be paid. The judges however dismissed Nyako's appeal to be reinstated as Governor of the state. The judges ruled that his tenure as governor had elapsed.
