Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Shock As Painter Stabs Another Man With Knife In Front Of Radio Station In Abuja (Photos)

One Boniface Abba, a middle-aged man shocked people when he attacked another man with a knife in front of Human Rights Radio and Television, Kaura district in Abuja today Thursday 31st January, 2019.
Local reports show that the attacker who claims to be a painter and resides at Gosa, along airport road in Abuja was immediately subdued after he stabbed the other man.
Boniface had allegedly been coming to the Human Rights radio to lay a certain complain, but was denied access.
It was gathered that Boniface had been coming to Human rights radio for the past four days but because of his unruly manners security officials attached to human rights radio and television barred him from gaining access to the premises.
Earlier today, when he arrived, a fight broke out between him and the man he stabbed and that was when he drew out a knife.
The victim has been taken to the hospital as the attacker Mr.Boniface Abba has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
