Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has sparked pregnancy rumours after she posted a video of a woman cradling what appears to be a baby bump.
In the video which was shared on her Insta-stories, the mother of one’s voice can be heard as she cradles the bump while wearing a dreamy bejewelled gown.
It is unsure what message the actress is trying to pass across as she has neither made any announcement about being pregnant. Many fans have however latched to the video as her way of subtly telling the world that she is expecting.

Dikeh, as you know, has a son, Andre whom she shares with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill. Dikeh and Churchill separated on a bitter note with several accusations of infidelity, abuse and domestic violence from both parties. Although not on good terms with her baby daddy, Dikeh takes every opportunity she gets to dote on their son.
In recent times, Dikeh has also hinted that she is in a relationship once again although unlike her well-publicised relationship and subsequent marriage, the award-winning screen star has managed to keep the identity of the new man in her life off social media.
She seemingly confirmed this again in her insta-stories when she posted a photo of herself and her son and wrote,
“11 hours flight but all we can think about is how much we miss step daddy!! Our lives changed meeting you.”
With this post, she is also hinting at not just a possible pregnancy but also a secret marriage. The coming days will confirm if Dikeh has indeed remarried and pregnant with her second child.

Just recently, the 33-year-old Dikeh became the first Nigerian celebrity to admit that she has gone under the knife to change things she didn’t like about her body. She made this known during the premiere of her reality TV show, “King Tonto”. In the promo clip, Dikeh is seen undergoing surgery and her openness sparked mixed reactions.

Court of Appeal reverses Nyako’s impeachment as Adamawa state governor

A Court of Appeal sitting in Yola, Adamawa state has reversed the July 15th 2014 impeachment of Murtala Nyako as governor of Adamawa State. The former Governor who was accused of misappropriation of public funds while in office, was impeached after 17 of 25 members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly voted against him at the state house of Assembly. Delivering judgement in an appeal filed by Nyako today February 11th, the Court of Appeal ruled that the process leading to his impeachment contravened the provisions of the Law. Justice Tunde Ayotoye who read the unanimous judgement, said Nyako was not given fair hearing during his impeachment and that his rights were violated by the Assembly members. The court in its ruling, ordered that all his entitlement before and after leaving office should be paid. The judges however dismissed Nyako's appeal to be reinstated as Governor of the state. The judges ruled that his tenure as governor had elapsed.
