Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. 90-Year-Old Man Eats Half Litre Of Paint After Mistaken It For Yogurt. Photos

A pensioner has proven to have quite the iron stomach after he guzzled half a litre of paint thinking that it was yogurt.

Bobby, 90, became a viral hit after his granddaughter posted the hilarious picture of him covered in the mint green paint.
Alex Stein wrote on Twitter: “Sooo my grandpa ate half a quart of paint today thinking it was yogurt.’
Her post has already gathered over 486,000 likes with a collection of hilarious comments.
According to Alex, her plucky grandfather, who has his own Instagram account, was completely fine after his paint binge.

She posted another picture on her wall of her FaceTiming Bobby with the caption: “Update: his stomach’s completely unfazed.”

Chelsea confirm they will appeal FIFA’s transfer ban

Chelsea have confirmed they will appeal FIFA’s decision to impose a two-window transfer ban on the club. The Premier League side have been banned from signing players, after being found guilty of breaching rules about signing minors by FIFA. The Premier League club have also been fined more than £460,000, while the FA face a £390,000 sanction. FIFA have given the club 90 days to rectify the situation concerning the players signed. Chelsea, in a statement, however made it clear that they “categorically refute the findings of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee and will therefore be appealing the decision”. The appeal will be heard by FIFA Appeal Committee, while the club can also appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
