Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. Lady Stripped Naked And Paraded For Insulting Politician In Delta . Photos

A lady was publicly humiliated after being paraded naked in Delta state. It is alleged that a politician/high chief from Owanta area ordered his boys to humiliate the woman for insulting him. 
The lady was paraded in public, tied up and stripped totally naked while being beaten in Ika local government area of the state as can be seen in a viral video posted online.
The Delta State Police command has been urged to immediately launch an investigation and arrest all those involved.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to social media to totally condemn the increasing spate of stripping people naked most especially ladies after being accused of a crime.
This is coming days after a lady was stripped naked and brutally tortured in Benin City, Edo state over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.

INEC Chairman Explains Reasons For Postponement Of Elections, Seeks Understanding (Full Speech)

The INEC Chairman, Professor Yakubu Mahmood has explained why the commission postponed the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, February 16. Speaking at a meeting with stakeholders in Abuja, the INEC Chairman ruled out political influence in the postponement, saying that the commission takes full responsibility for the anomaly. Giving reasons for the postponement, Prof. Yakubu said, “The decision has nothing to do with security,  political influence or inadequate resources ” The meeting followed INEC’s announcement in the early hours of Saturday postponing the general elections by a week, less than five hours to the start of the polls. There is palpable tension in Zimbabwe were a violent strike has ensued after the government more than doubled the price of fuel in a bid to improve supplies as the country battles its worst gasoline shortages in years.  Protesters turned back drivers and blocked buses from carrying passengers in Zimbabwe’s two main cities of Harare and Bulawayo as the main labour federation called for a three-day nationwide strike. Soldiers were deployed at a shopping centre in Bulawayo’s township of Entumbane where protesters looted shops. Demonstrators in the second city had attacked minibusses heading to the city center and used burning tyres and stones to block the main routes into town while some schools were turning away pupils fearing for their safety.
