Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Mohammad Abubakar the Chairman of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and his daughter have been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
Affirming the occurrence in an announcement, spokesman for the Kaduna state police command, DSP Yakubu Sabo, says the shooters who were wearing military uniform caught two vehicles including a sports utility vehicle having a place with the UBEC administrator around Kurmin Kare town along the thruway at about 3:30 pm on Monday, shot the driver dead, and later kidnapped the UBEC chairman and his daughter to an obscure location
He said that two inhabitants of one of the vehicles who were making a trip from Kano to Oyo State were injured and rescued to Katari Police Station.
The statement clarifies that a Combined Team Police Mobile Force, Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Command, Special Forces and Operation Yaki were immediately prepared to the territory with the end goal of looking over the shrubbery for conceivable salvage of the people in question and capturing the culprits.
