Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, with the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. LMAO!!!Couples Fell Into River During pre-Wedding Photos

A couple dramatically tipped out of their canoe during a pre-wedding photo shoot. Tijin Thankachen and Silpa were photographed in a canoe in the Pamba river in Kadammanitta, the south Indian state of Kerala.

Holding a banana leaf over their heads the photo, which is used for their save the date cards, depicts a romantic scene where they are caught in rainfall.  
But as the photographer tells the couple to lean in closer and share a kiss the boat loses balance. 
Leaning towards his fiancée Tijin causes the boat to dramatically tilt to one side.
And, as if in slow motion, the couple are dramatically tipped in to the river as the canoe tips over. 
Those around them laugh as they are dunked under the water  and Tijin has to pull his fiancée from the shallow water. 
The couple are set to marry on May 6, 2019, and the photo on their save the date cards leaves no trace of the dramatic photo shoot.

As the National Coalition Center opens by 11:00amon on Monday in Abuja, results from Saturday’s presidential election across the 36 states and Abuja are expected to trickle in. The battle of who leads Nigeria in the next four years is majorly between President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar. Breaking News: Abia State To Get A New Governor, PDP Is Out

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the April 11 Abia state governorship election and the April 25 supplementary election, has been sacked. Alex Otti (left) and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu (right) The court delivered judgement on the election petition in the last day of the year 2015. According to the ruling, Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the election, ordered his immediate swearing-in. The APGA candidate scored 164,444 valid votes to defeat Ikpeazu of the PDP, who secured 114,444 votes. The Owerri-based five-member panel of the court of appeal was headed by Justice Oyebisi Omoleye. The justice said the cancellation of the elections held in three local govenment areas, Obingwa, Osisioma Ngwa and Isiala Ngwa, was unlawful. The returning officer has the right to only declare the results, but not to cancel the election. Omoleye had previously struck out the preliminary objections by Ikpeazu’s (PDP) counsel
