Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Akin Alabi issues warnings to landlords who refuses to rent their houses to single ladies

NairaBET owner, Oloye Akin Alabi, who represents the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, has guaranteed to handle landowners in his electorate who oppress single ladies. 

The House of Representatives member took to Twitter soon after he accepted office to make this notice.
He said...

 "Any landlord in that turns down a woman in my constituency in Ibadan because she is single will see my red eye from next month."

"There is something called discrimination. I won’t rent my house to single women. I won’t rent my house to blacks etc is DISCRIMINATION. Anyone that’s suffers this will have my backing and support to take on such landlords."
