Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. PDP To Tinubu: APC Members Will Give You Back Seat Treatment Soon

Bola Tinubu, a National Leader of the regnant All Progressive Congress (APC) will before long be given back seat arrangement treatment in the nearest future, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said.
The resistance expressed this in answer to remarks credited to the previous Lagos State representative wherein he said the PDP were owning saucy and distractive expressions as a result of their misfortune at the current year's general decision.
"Try not to accuse them. They are crippled by the awful sentiments of the enormous loss of the decision," Tinubu was cited by the administration in an announcement to have said in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
"You should assist them with managing the injury," the APC chieftain included.
Reacting, the resistance who blamed the previous representative for pulling affronts at the PDP asked him not to curry political pertinence by assaulting them.
The gathering likewise said it was a barbarity for the APC chieftain to venture out to the Islamic religious nation to play grimy legislative issues while others are petitioning God for the nation.

Court of Appeal reverses Nyako’s impeachment as Adamawa state governor

A Court of Appeal sitting in Yola, Adamawa state has reversed the July 15th 2014 impeachment of Murtala Nyako as governor of Adamawa State. The former Governor who was accused of misappropriation of public funds while in office, was impeached after 17 of 25 members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly voted against him at the state house of Assembly. Delivering judgement in an appeal filed by Nyako today February 11th, the Court of Appeal ruled that the process leading to his impeachment contravened the provisions of the Law. Justice Tunde Ayotoye who read the unanimous judgement, said Nyako was not given fair hearing during his impeachment and that his rights were violated by the Assembly members. The court in its ruling, ordered that all his entitlement before and after leaving office should be paid. The judges however dismissed Nyako's appeal to be reinstated as Governor of the state. The judges ruled that his tenure as governor had elapsed.
