Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. A 67-year-elderly person has been summoned before the Lagos State Magistrate Court at Igbosere, Lagos, for purportedly hacking into a First Bank Plc record and taking N16.2million. Popular Nigerian Film maker, Kemi Adetiba has taken her time in a tweet to educate Nigerians on the different behaviours of rape victims.

Kemi Adetiba’s lecture on rape is coming on the back of the ongoing rape saga between Busola Dakolo, wife of popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo and Pastor of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.


She wrote:

This is a reminder to those that do not know or aren’t sure – a victim of RAPE can go for decades without confronting her truth. Another reminder – not all rape victims SCREAM and FIGHT. This is not the movies, and there’s is no one way react to shock or survive trauma.

Karthyayani Amma,  a 96-year-old woman set a record by scoring 98 marks out of 100 in the literacy exam in southern Indian state of Kerala. The Kerala State literacy mission conducts equivalency examination in different grades for people who could not get proper schooling.   After the results were declared on Wednesday, Karthyayani Amma was felicitated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Obaseki approves N843m for the payment of LGA pensioners

Godwin Obaseki of Edo, has approved the release of N843, 324, 509.46 for the payment of three years pension arrears for local government workers in the state. The Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Hon. Jimoh Ijegbai, disclosed this at a press conference in Benin on Monday. He said the payment of the arrears was for the period between 2015 and 2018. Confusion and palpable tension have gripped the Osun State University, as the Vice-chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola, and members of the trade union in the university accused each other of fraud and misconduct.
