Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi, today, won the ‘Head of House’ title for the second time, thereby gaining another 250 coins and the use of the special ‘Head of House’ room.
Last week, after winning the ‘Head of House’ title for the first time, Seyi picked Esther to share the room with him.
Tacha turns down
This was met with mixed feelings as everyone felt he should have picked Tacha, his closest friend in the house. Seyi later realized his shortcomings and apologized to her.
In an attempt to make up for last week, Seyi offered to share the room with Tacha but she turned him down.
He later chose Venita.

INEC Chairman Explains Reasons For Postponement Of Elections, Seeks Understanding (Full Speech)

The INEC Chairman, Professor Yakubu Mahmood has explained why the commission postponed the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, February 16. Speaking at a meeting with stakeholders in Abuja, the INEC Chairman ruled out political influence in the postponement, saying that the commission takes full responsibility for the anomaly. Giving reasons for the postponement, Prof. Yakubu said, “The decision has nothing to do with security,  political influence or inadequate resources ” The meeting followed INEC’s announcement in the early hours of Saturday postponing the general elections by a week, less than five hours to the start of the polls.
