Job: Nigeria, Britain partner to combat unemployment

The Nigerian government has expressed its willingness to partner with the British Government in tackling unemployment and creating job opportunities for young persons in the country. PHOTO: NAN The Minister of State for  Labour  and Employment, Dr Festus Keyamo, stated this when the Political Counsellor, British High Commission, Mr Dominic Williams, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. “We are ready to collaborate with our partners all over the world to open up avenues for job creation. We are open to all kinds of suggestions and levels of co-operation,” he said. He disclosed that the Government has opened up other sectors as part of efforts to diversify the economy from oil, which would, in turn, create room for employment. RCCG counsellor says masturbating while thinking about a certain person is RAPE; Comedian, Wale Gates reacts

Comedian, Wale Gates has reacted to a statement which was made by a counsellor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG about masturbating with a particular person in mind being rape.
@PSFRCCGOfficial took to Twitter to highlight points made during the RCCG Convention 2019. While discussing masturbation, Timi Oyebode, a counsellor and author at the church said masturbating to someone’s image is no different from raping the person.
One of the tweets shared by RCCG reads,
You can’t Masturbate without imagining someone in mind and when you do such, you are partaking in RAPE.
For the person you picture in your mind hasn’t given you the right to touch or picture them in your mind.

A number of Twitter users didn’t quite agree with this school of thought as they expressed their disagreement on the platform.
Comedian Wale Gates reacted to the tweet, saying,
What I want to ask RCCG now is, So if and when I want to “release tension” and go on at certain website to research material for tension release, Do I have to call the person that might be in my thots first for their consent?

As the National Coalition Center opens by 11:00amon on Monday in Abuja, results from Saturday’s presidential election across the 36 states and Abuja are expected to trickle in. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the April 11 Abia state governorship election and the April 25 supplementary election, has been sacked. Alex Otti (left) and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu (right) The court delivered judgement on the election petition in the last day of the year 2015. According to the ruling, Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the election, ordered his immediate swearing-in. The APGA candidate scored 164,444 valid votes to defeat Ikpeazu of the PDP, who secured 114,444 votes. The Owerri-based five-member panel of the court of appeal was headed by Justice Oyebisi Omoleye. The justice said the cancellation of the elections held in three local govenment areas, Obingwa, Osisioma Ngwa and Isiala Ngwa, was unlawful. The returning officer has the right to only declare the results, but not to cancel the election. Omoleye had previously struck out the preliminary objections by Ikpeazu’s (PDP) counsel
