Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, has recorded a medical breakthrough when a team of medical researchers in the institution produced a mixture for the treatment of patients with damaged livers. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwole Amusan, who disclosed this to pressmen yesterday during a press briefing ahead of the second convocation of the university scheduled for July 17, 2016, said that a human volunteer had been cured of a liver problem when the drug was tested on him. An unidentified man committed suicide at Cele Bus Stop area of Lagos state yesterday April 1st, according to a report by PM News. Lagos State Fire Service Director, Rasak Fadipe, who made the incident known, said eyewitnesses said the man was walking along the road when he suddenly pulled off his shoes and jumped into the canal. He was pulled out of the canal but efforts to revive him failed. No one knows why he did what he did.
